Thanks to Bent TV, I had the change to speak to Delsi, the event organizer for Unicorns, about why queer parties are important, the amazing effort she puts into hers, and how to have a good time when you attend one!

Delsi runs Queer Party nights, including Unicorns, in multiple Australian States. What are the value principals she won't compromise to ensure parties like Unicorns provide a popular, safe, queer partying space?

Talking about Libraries on BentTV!

How good are libraries? Super good, turns out! On Bent TV, I chat with librarian Roz Quin about all the things you can get out of your library as a LGBTIQA+ person - and it turns out there's a lot!

Queer Self Love on BentTV

I recently hosted a segment on BentTV about queer self love, and it's one of my favourite segments I've ever hosted. You can check out the YouTube video here!:

Jacci, Ella, and Erin outline some of their Queer Self Love and Self Care strategies. Not only are they simple, but they hope these may provide examples of what could work for you when you need to celebrate your queerness, strengthen your self love, rebalance, refresh, recharge or simply to celebrate your existence.

Erin introduces what Radical Kindness, Mental Load, and Emotional Labour are; how showing unlimited kindness to someone may not always be being kind to yourself, and suggests some simple check-in's you can do to ensure you are looking after yourself as you show kindness to others.

Talking Metamours on BentTV

Hello friends!  Yesterday I was on Bent TV on Lisa Skye's Being Proper segment, talking about polyamory and metamours.  What they are, how we interact with them, all that good sort of thing.  You can watch the segment on youtube!

Lisa-Skye, joined by Erin Kyan and Matt Fennell, discuss the niceties of polyamorous relationships. What, for instance, do you call the people involved with your partner (your partner's partner) with whom you have no direct relationship with? There is not only a word but a whole protocol of behaviour that goes with it.
